1840 年，臭氧被發(fā)現(xiàn)，且因其獨(dú)特氣味而命名。
1906 年，法國(guó)尼斯市是設(shè)立全球第一座臭氧凈水廠。
1937 年，美國(guó)出現(xiàn)第一座使用臭氧處理的商業(yè)游泳池。
1940 年，美國(guó)印第安納州首度使用臭氧凈水處理。
1975 年，全美超過(guò) 1000 臭氧除臭裝置被安裝在污水處理場(chǎng)。
1982 年，瓶裝水開(kāi)始使用臭氧殺菌。
1984 年，所有奧運(yùn)的競(jìng)賽泳池全部以臭氧處理。
